Chronic Illness Coaching
When a chronic illness takes over your life, everything changes.
Exercise, plans, work, travel, adventures, parenting, relationships.
Everything becomes a calculation.
“If I do this, will I be able to make dinner?”
“If I say yes, will I be able to shower?”
Chronic Illness is often invisible, but completely life-altering
Diagnosed with Long Covid & ME/CFS in 2022, I eventually stepped away from my role as Director of Systems Integration and Operations in an institute within a major academic medical center in 2023. Finding the balance between professional engagement through coaching, parenting three children, and managing the many doctors appointments is a delicate art, a balancing act that requires discipline and focus on what really matters.
Coaching helps you sift through the noise and find your center of balance in the chaotic world of navigating new limitations. You are capable, strong, and resilient. Your voice matters, even if you only have the energy one hour a day or one hour a week to use it.
How are you finding your voice in the midst of new limitations?

“The good news is that suffering can be transformed into something that brings life, not death. […] At first, they go into deep grief, certain that their lives will never again be worth living.
But then they slowly awaken to the fact that – not in spite of their loss but because of it – they’ve become bigger, more compassionate people, with more capacity of heart to take in other people’s sorrows and joys.”
– Parker Palmer, On the Brink of Everything
